To me he was better in a safety role; But I readily admit not reviewing his work
Thought he was a good waiver wire pickup.
Not sure of his future for 2017, however there's a need for a 4th safety.
The question is: Is he a safety?

Seems Wade had him on his squad last year only to cut him. It' doesn't seem that would bode well for his future. Another one of the kids on the roster that can play either DB or CB, but I am unsure of where that puts him.
Both of them should get plenty of reps. There's a new kid, a Ute, and possible that he'll have a great summer, but for now I think this is worthy fight between the pair for a roster spot. And one can't ignore the Penton kid, but he's a smaller body guy who is listed a true corner.
I'd lean towards Marqui, but this is an important spot, imo, as Wade installs his system. There's more to sort out with how guy, and which guys play in the box. The backend will need to be more solid, and honestly we need to come up more turnovers from back there.
