If you buy much from Amazon

Then Prime is a no-brainer.

I buy tons of books and other assorted stuff.

Prime is an annual fee of I$99 and you get all orders that are fulfilled by Amazon with free shipping and sometimes even same day shipping.

The Amazon channel is just a bonus to me, but it does have some good movies and TV series that aren't on Netflix.

I *think* you need a Smart TV, or something like the Firestick or Apple TV to utilize it.
