Taking a quarterback is a realistic scenario, despite all that the Rams have surrendered for Jared Goof. If they're bad enough to be selecting No. 1 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, they'll surely be ready to move on to another quarterback.

I'm not offended that walterfootball has nicknamed our quarterback "Jared the Goof". It comes across as immature and a bit unprofessional but the total body of work that JG showcased in his 7 games, was no doubt more of a goof and nothing like that of a number one overall draft pick.

If the Rams indeed have the number one overall pick in 2018 because Jared plays like a goof again, there is little doubt that McVay would convince ownership that they need to move on from JG and let McVay draft his own franchise QB in 2018...
