I see no value in Spruce if Kupp lives up the hype. Kupp has all the tools and size of an elite WR, with Spruce's hands. Kupp lacks the over the top speed, but so does Spruce. I just don't see what Spruce brings that Kupp can't already do.

Mike Thomas on the other hand has the ST talent and has the bosy type and playing speed of a WR that the Rams lack. He needs to right his hands issue, but upaide to Thomas is far greater than Spruce. If we did not have Kupp I would want Spruce's hands.

You make good points, Hollywood.

Could Spruce be injury insurance for Kupp? I mean, a WR that can get separation, run great routes and be where the QB expects him to be at all times, and has flypaper hands? How can McVay cut such a player if he's keeping six? I mean, what more do you want from a WR?

About Thomas. If he can overcome the hands thing, I love him. But that's a big "if" as of mid May, don't you think?

One thing we can agree upon. This will all sort itself out in camp and PS games. And we should expect the unexpected. Lol.
