Here's what's to like about Ram's draft: a plan and coherence

I thought Fisher's drafts made no sense.
They want to be a power running team, and they pick up a midget slot receiver in Austin.
Then they throw in the kitchen sink to get a prolific passer.
Then they have a bunch of rookies and 2nd year guys as his oline.
Then a bunch of late round picks and misfits and butter fingered guys for Recievers.

Nothing about the draft, especially on the offensive side, made any sense.

This draft had form and substance. Every offensive player had to have a high football IQ, be a super hard worker, have hands like glue, and already have good route running skills.

No more OL. They are loaded to the gills with young oline that hasn't been developed. So.....they're going to develop them but with an All-Pro LT to settle things down.

They loaded up with weapons for Goff at slot, Wideout, TE, all who can run. All who are playmakers.
Then, the safety that can play, and has played, nearly all the secondary positions who is a special teams standout.
Then some OLB prospects who of course don't have great skills yet, but they can rush the passer and have high motors and good football instincts.
Then a DT that is a penetrating type that can play nose or 3 Technique. A Donald-type.

Bottom line: I have no idea if any of these draft picks are going to work out.....and no one else does either.
But, there is form and structure and it does make sense for the first time in a while.
