FORREST LAMP, Western Kentucky (6-3 ½, 307, 5.01, 1-2): Started 51 games, all but three at LT. “Might be the toughest guy in the draft,” said one scout.

“He’s the old-school, run-blocking guard who needs to work on his pass pro,” said another scout. “On the ground a little bit (too much) for my liking.

I'm surprised by the lack of surprise, tbh.

Some on this board have been all Gaga over Lamp. Up to and including trading up for him into the late 1st if he should even fall that far.

"He's a really good third or fourth round pick that will get overdrafted based on no linemen". That's not what I want from our #37, y'all. Not hardly.

Funny that Gil Brandt, though some think he's lost his fastball.... had Lamp rated as his #41 ranked player and some people thought that was ridiculous to rate him as a middle 2nd round pick.

I like the Lampster but I sure as heck wouldn't trade up to get him. If he's available at #37 he has to be in the discussion but his value for the Rams will probably be elevated just for the fact their O-LINE is still far from fixed imo.....
