But I do think that if the Rams try to move into the latter half of round one packaging Tru and their round 2 pick is something they'll try. And at that point a team like Dallas might figure "why not" since they could nab a CB and suddenly look pretty solid at the position. Would depend of course on who they're looking at, and whether they see a lot of dropoff to where the Rams are picking.

That the Rams might give Dallas TruJo AND their 2nd for just Dallas' late 1st?
The Rams would gain maybe 12 spots vs their own 2nd AND lose a quality starting CB while creating yet another big hole on their roster? Just to save the $16.7 million?
Or am I misunderstanding something?
That was my reaction too 43. Why would the Rams do something like this? Who would be worth that, just 12 slots earlier? This is the kind of draft, according to our vaunted board draft experts, where the value is later. Even so, I think we still need to draft one of the CBs that will be available to us even if we keep TruJ this year because most likely he's gone after 2017.
