I think Barron has been very. Productive the last two years but I'm wary teams will figure out how to take away his effectiveness if he is consistently lined up at the same spot at inside linebacker.
If they haven't figured out who the strong safety is they should consider moving Barron there.
Mo Alexander could a better fit at inside linebacker even though he isn't proto either.
They may be readying Webster for FS .
At least that would be one question resolved.
A trade of Barron may have merit but a trade should only happen if they have a replacement with improved ability and size to take on and shed blocks otherwise Barron stays and they set him at different angles to make it tough to get him blocked.
Barron is a football player but he isn't untouchable or without weakness.
Touch and go to work around some shortcomings but his disruptive flashes are pretty attractive as well as his substantial consistent nose for the ball when he's unblocked.
I expect a big offer would be the only way it gets done. Other wise he's a game day chesspiece for us.
A very interesting one too.
