Great highlight film of the 1980 season. I forgot how talented and good this team was in 1980. The sad part is that the front office allowed the budding star Vince Ferragamo to escape to the CFL because they were not willing to pay him.
Fortunately he came back in 1983 but in all their wisdom and I blame John Robinson as much as anybody they let Vince get away again.

Ferragamo's my all-time favorite and it was ridiculous that the Rams let him go the first time. But, Vince was never the same after he broke his thumb against the Steelers. I wish they would have kept him but I can see why they let him go the second time. Of course, that doesn't make up for how little they generally supported him. From Haden to Jones to Kemp, they always seemed all too willing to start someone in front of him.
