The Broncos have three candidates, that's it. And it's one that comes from each side of the ball (offense - Shanahan, defense - Joseph, special teams - Toub).
Denver knows what they're looking for and exactly where to go to find it. They want to spend as little time as possible in the process so they can focus as much as possible on the product.
The Rams, on the other hand, are turning this into the Kobe Bryant retirement tour. They're taking this show on the road and it's coming to a city near you soon. And they're interviewing every and any name somebody and his cousin throw out there. The process is as much about the process as it is actually finding the man that's going to turn this team around. They don't know what they're doing or what they're truly trying to find and that could not be more obvious at this point.
Never has it been more clear that this organization needs an Elway, not a Demoff, more than it needs one of the dozen or more "names" they're talking to.
