But this team needs to get much better on offense. It is historically bad and not playing near the talent level.
Because of the circumstances, the Rams need a great offensive coach.
The Rams offense is like playing 8th grade basketball and the players are at a 6th grade level with knowledge of the game and fundamentals. It is like Fisher and company didn't teach them a dam thing these past 3 years. Totally dysfunctional.
Payton can turn that around much faster than Rivera. I believe a complete overhaul of offensive players would need to take place for a coach like Rivera to be successful where this offense sits.
Most other NFL teams, I would get your point about going more with a strong leader no nonsense type, but that won't matter with the 6th grade offensive mindset because the players lost the last 2 years and didn't learn a dam thing.
