He's talking about having a problem which suggests he's addicted, but whereas Adderall is addictive it's not a drug you build up an addiction to over a short period.
Also it's a controlled substance (meaning it cannot even be called in by a doctor and their are strict limits) and rarely prescribed at more than 30mgs with 20mgs being more common, and as a rule doctors will not prescribe it more than 3 times before referring on to a psychiatrist for evaluation and control.
People with Adderall or any amphetamine addiction aren't hard to spot. Long periods of euphoria followed by long periods of tiredness, agitation and even depression. I doubt anybody could play football at that level and be a true addict.
So I'm guessing he is using it 'correctly' in terms of dosage to help him concentrate and is using the rehab as a way of gaining sympathy.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
