Yes, when it comes to coaches, it really doesn't matter, owner can compensate any sort of money that might be lost due to taxes, but when it comes to players, teams like the Rams get screwed because of the salary cap.
There was a discussion about how this needs to be fixed in the next CBA...team in states with no state income tax have a huge advantage over teams in states like California. Team in California team might have to pay a player $12mil a year to compensate for a player who would get paid $10mil a year in Florida..... Times that by 53 players and it's a big advantage,
