Assuming "coaches" in general who might be interested in the Rams job see Goff in isolation as a positive, do you honestly think they see Goff and all the missing draft picks in combination as a net positive? Do you think Glazer even asked that question of the couple sources he's surely presenting as the collective?
This is the same thing that happened with the last "franchise QB." So many people got caught up in wanting their guy to succeed so badly they lost sight of the team's welfare.
Hopefully Goff will be everything he was supposed to be, for the team's sake. But if he's not going to cut it, it's better to know and move on sooner than later, for the team's sake.
