That was an aging team- Jim and Jack Youngblood, Cody Jones, Larry Brooks, Cullen Bryant, Willie Miller, Mike Fanning, etc. Heck anyone remember that Ron Yary was a backup OL on that team at age 36?
What I always remember of that 1982 team is how many early leads they blew. The lost games where they had 23-0, 14-0, 21-0, and 14-0 leads. I will never forget that season opener at Green Bay with the 23-0 halftime lead that they lost 35-23.
And yet when they hung on and beat the 49ers in that season finale when Ivory Sully blocked the FG that was a really fun win....
The GB game was disastrous. That was in my teenage years where I could hardly sleep after a loss. I think the Rams finished 2-7 that season. Ferragamo had a career high passing game against the Bears. He threw for 509 yards in a loss.
