I think max made some good points....amongst them is that the Rams going into Foxboro is kinda like Custer deciding to ride in Little Big Horn.....ie. a close a deal to a sure-fire loss as you can get. I mean the bookies in Vegas have the Pats as a 13.5 point favorite last time I checked.
Historically as well, I see max on solid footing regarding this Sunday's contest up in New England, because the last time Jeff Fisher took a NFL team into Foxboro was during an early snowstorm in late October 2009.
Suffice it to say that as Winter Battles go,
if Foxboro was Stalingrad....
Fisher was Von Paulus, and Bellicheck was Zhukov!
Final Score was Patriots 59 and Titans 0.
Ouch!
One thing that max left out is that Demoff is in a weird place if he wants to jettison Jeff Fisher.......as his dad is Fisher's Agent.
I disagree with zn that is ED Soap Opera is something that will pass from everybody's frontal lobes soon!
Hey Jeff Fisher.....you ain't dealing with the backwater press corps of Saint Lou this time!!
Yo Toto....you ain't in Kansas anymore......this is TinselTown and the Local Media is well versed in the scandal/controversy genre!
Pretty soon SoCal guys like John Shaw will come out from under his rock and give his two cents about how Stan Kroenke has totally fooked up the Rams Homecoming by putting a shabby product on the field and employing a ham-handed Head Coach who just irked a Ram icon in HOFer Eric Dickerson!
I can see John Shaw postulating in front of the cameras now.....
"You know Chet, it is hard to win in the NFL......I know......I won a SuperBowl for this Franchise!!"
"Of course back then in 1999 Chet.....it wasn't Stan Kroenke who was in charge!!"
This Soap Opera is going to linger as long as Fisher and his Coaching Staff keep laying one-sided steaming hot-piles of Losses out there for Ramsnation to consume. And to me that looks to be for the next month or so!!
