Being at the game I saw the same things in Goff. Zero confusion. Good command, body language. Comfortable in the two minute offense. It was a very good sign in my opinion. You're right he does sail throws when feeling rushed or pressed. Still trying to manufacture plays when nothing is there vs. throwing it away which works at Cal but not here. He'll get better there.
Draft: I think DE is a growing issue. Hayes is either still really hurting on that ankle or starting to decline. Sims isn't and never was a good pass rusher. I would really like to see Longacre get some more reps this year. But in the Draft if a DE is there in the high 2nd worth taking I jump on him. More consistent pressure at DE helps the CBs.
