I think the deal with Stan is already done and Fisher has 1-3 yrs more.
Stan will repay Fisher's loyalty in keeping the tam competitive thru the move process and all it's diatraction.
Fisher looks
relaxed in dealing with the media... but bummed about losing.
We
have been close in
all games this season sans the SF one.
The QB has always been our most noted issue on offense...we mortgaged the farm to make an unprecedented move all the way from #15 to #1 to fix that QB issue and find ourselves a passing talent. QB was the issue before Fisher came here with Linehan & Spags..
then w picked Bradford
(oft injured and unremarkable career...yet still has been traded twice for 1st round picks).
I just think, in general, defensive oriented HCs have trouble with their offenses - cuz it's not their forte - and it's usually a transcendent QB talent
(Brady, Wilson, etc) that alleviates that problem for defensive-oriented HCs. We are so close - imo - I know most of you will think that opinion insane...but I just look at how bad our offense has been in scoring and how many games we were in til the last minute, which we shouldn't even be competitive in.
We have 2/3s of a really good team and a rookie QB, 2nd year RB, talent at WR and I see reason for simply
tweaking the offense and not a wholesale re-formatting of the team's hard drive. We have players that defenses fear
(TG & TA-yep, they scheme to take him away still...now Britt - maybe Quick)Dismiss my reasoning if it offends your sensibilities.
yeah, I know, perhaps I'm blindly hopeful and even delirious in my rationale...but that's where I see things.
C'mon in...the Kool-Aide pool is warm!! LOL
