I know of three games at least....this year... and I'm sure there are more...

where players/media have said defenses knew what was coming from the Ram's offense. That's something I do not recall ever happening before in all my years of watching the NFL. Oh sure, I can remember quotes, many of them, saying that in a given situation they knew what a team was going to run.. but these remarks about the Rams were dealing with the 'game'... not a specific play.

In that first game Steve Young called this offense... with precision accuracy. It hasn't changed, even if they have microscopically gotten better.

That is not an indication of 'hard work'... to me anyway. Or rather.. it's not an indication of 'intellectual' hard work. I'm sure the players work up a sweat at the same level as any team in the NFL
