I'm optimistic about his healthy based on how durable he was in college. He took a beating from a lot of big time DL. e.g. That DT Leonard Williams from USC is a monster and he beat Goff up in a one game I saw, and Goff held up fine.
And I can't get it out of my head what Vermeil said about the Rams. DV said a young QB would have to drive a truck over them to show he could play. That's how bad the Rams coaching staff is, including Fisher, when it comes to young QBs. So I am also encouraged by what I see from Goff. He is doing it with an awful coaching staff. Just imagine if he had a good one.
Well, i dunno if Fisher and his staff are 'awful'. I mean the Defensive coaches must be doing, ok, right?
Obviously the offense is a mess....but why? I dunno. In the end, i dont care. I dont need to know whether its Fisher, or Boras, or bad luck, or whatever -- I'm just ready for a change. Thats all it is with me. I'm just tired of this system and i want to see a different system. Doesnt mean I know whether Fisher/boras are 'awful' or what -- I just want a change.
I guess i just dont like to call a coach 'awful' when they have worked as hard as Fisher/Boras. I mean they have worked their butts off and they have tried to lift the Rams to greatness...so i just dont "go there." I dont think of them as 'awful'. Linehan was awful. But Fisher? Not to me. But I'm tired of the losing and I think its just time for a change. Time for a divorce.
