Maybe having Fisher at the helm during the move was a good move, but I think that's highly overrated. But the Rams have to put something on the field to keep the fanbase interested. Moving into a new stadium in 2019 won't, in and of itself, won't galvanize a fan base that has long given up on the team. That new stadium is going to be filled with fans of the other team, just like the Coliseum is beginning to do. I'm really just beside myself with this whole thing. I find it hard to understand how the owner of an NFL team can be so tolerant of a product that so routinely and effortlessly alienates its fans. I've long been of the opinion that the focus of those at the head of the franchise have been far more leveled on the move and the stadium project than it has on putting a winning team on the field. The indifference to the plight of the fan, the indifference to the mind numbing mediocrity and the fact that those charged with leading this team out onto the field on Sunday have no answers whatsoever is infuriating. Not sure how much more time and affection I can invest in this franchise.
