No, it's the other way around

I think it's that they own the houses but they don't own the land the houses are on..... Kroenke does (now). They were leasing the land. Now that Kroenke has bought the land, they have to vacate the houses that are on his land. There was a discussion about this over on Bucky's Pub a few weeks ago. [ramsrule.com]
