well he had 2...steve mcnair and SB. i guess you can debate if mcnair and SB were/are good. but mcnair is thought of as a success story in nfl circles and SB seems to still be held in high regard around the nfl despite some mediocre stats. thats a hard case to figure out.
i wouldnt count young as it is well known that fisher didnt want him and he was basically proven right in that regard.
collins was a high pick but he wasnt playing for fisher until late in his career.
compare that with martz, belichick or walsh? well geez ok..yes fisher pales in comparison to all three (although bellick still has a losing record as a head coach without brady) but all 3 of those caoches had HOF qbs. did the coach make then great or did they make the coach great? or some combination?
your point about pass offense is true. the offense is less then inspiring. my gut tells me its the fact that we have had pedestrian qbs with SB getting injured etc. but i dont know that. maybe he is too conservative for todays nfl?
lol..well it is saying that he is the BEST coach weve had since 2006 but as im sure you know thats not actually saying much.

Fisher has had some high first rounders at QB, yet their career QB rating with him are in the low 80's. Compare that to what Martz, Belichick or Walsh have done with much lower draft picks.
Plus, Fisher's pass offenses have been near the bottom of the league for the past 10 years. Can he really be good at developing QB's and have bad pass offenses at the same time.
It's kinda like saying, Fisher is a good head coach because in 5 years of coaching, he's had the best record (7-8-1) we've had since 2006.
That's just not enough for me. Especially with all the opportunities Fisher has had to develop this team and develop a QB.
And that's just my opinion of course. But what do I know, I'm just a Fisher hater.
