What Irvin isn't taking into account is that Fisher may need to save his job and win as many games as possible before the end of the season.
If Fisher feels Keenum would give him a better chance to win even one more game than Goff, why would he put Goff in if its his job on the line (not that I know it even is)?
Who knows, maybe Kroenke gives Fisher the green light to start Goff against Carolina or whenever and tells him his job is safe next year regardless of his record at seasons end.
