I would disagree with the premise of improvement. I would rather call it. "The Rams offense have had better games recently." "Improvement" to me is more permanent as we have seen this show for 3-4 years now where it appears things are going in the right direction and than puff, not so fast.
What will we do when the offense has back to back games with less than 300 yards and less than 20 points? Say those games don't count either.
The Rams have 10 games left and some will be better than others on offense. I rather see last week as the rule versus "the exception" before I start using words like "improvement".
Yes, it will be said that those games don't count if they are followed by 2 or 3 games afterward with better results. You can count on that.
What you're asking for is a larger sample size. That's reasonable IMO. I haven't seen enough to say for sure that they are improved from the first two games.
Especially since the offense has committed huge game-losing turnovers at critical moments the last two weeks despite any improvement in the numbers.
