Live by the razor thin margin for error, die by it

I actually enjoyed yesterday's game. The back and forth. Lots of scoring. Thought we'd have a chance at the end. And we did. Can't really fault any individual players or playcalling without delving into the realm of the nitpicky. We won 3 games that were decided by defensive stops at the end of the game. We could have lost all 3 of those. When you have no margin for error - some games will go your way, others won't. Just law of averages catching up with us. The bigger issue is that, in year 5, you'd like to be a team that can get a few dominant wins in - not having to hold your breath in the last 2 minutes of every game. The truth is we are kind of a mediocre team - like the majority of the league - when things bounce our way - we'll pull off close wins, when they don't we'll lose. Sounds like some 8-8 BS, but that's the team Fisher / Snead have built.
