I agree with some of your post. Not all but a lot.

To focus on that bit though?

It's not "no one" who thought he could throw long.

Some of us, like me, have been pointing out all along that that is part of his game going back to his first starts in Houston in 2013.

The people who did not accept that he had a long ball in his arsenal were, just frankly and bluntly, in all honesty, just completely wrong.

And again...some of us have been beating that drum for months now.

The long ball is part of Keenum's game. Always has been. What he doesn't have is those 11-20 yard lasers you get from qbs with stronger arms. But he has always had a long ball, as some of us routinely pointed out in post after post, because you don't NEED a strong arm to throw it long. I mean it helps to have a big arm but then lots of qbs with big arms can't hit them--because they don't have the other things you need. CK DOES have those things---the touch, timing, anticipation, and accuracy to throw them AND he works at it.

So anyone who woke up and realized they were swimming in a big sea of coffee cause of the Tavon throw you mention? Welcome to the club.
