It is what it is. There will be a lot of excuses, including the depleted D-line, but the fake punt seemed indicative of how this staff seems to think the Offense is the third most important phase of the game. Hopefully, they will take this loss as an excuse to bring in Goff and begin his development. Now that Trumaine Johnson appears to be out for an extended period of time, might as well get the rookie some playing time. Two weeks with pick sixes makes it hard to argue that Keenum is the better option at starter, since that often boils down to him knowing the offense and thus protecting the ball. All I know is that things are going to get ugly for this team with the injuries they have on defense. I hope they can rally together and win going forward, but it is starting to seem like another lost season after everything we saw today.
