Agreed. The Rams, with the way they're built, need to set up Gurley with the pass. Most teams use the run to set up the pass. With Fisher's retro gameplan, he has to use the pass to set up the run. And there is no way on earth a horizontal passing game can do that. Unless they can force a team to back off and respect the vertical game, Gurley is going to be bottled up. He may have a big run now and then, but he's mostly going to be stacked up at the line . . . .
and take a ton of extra punishment to boot.
They need to fix this. IMO, that means wholesale changes from the FO on down.
