He didn't just struggle, he didn't just play average and leave the door open for the Rams to draft another QB (see Philly) he disintegrated and was so bad he got cut
He got benched, then had to play because the starter was down, and then benched again for the starter's return, and then got cut later on.
I agree with you.
There are very few times in all Rams history when a qb plays like that in consecutive starts.
In his last 4 starts he had 0 TDs, a completion percentage in the 50s, a YPA of 4.9 (which is historically bad league-wide), and an avg. qb rating in the 50s.
I think the previous 2 games were just too easy to expose him. They were home games with SF and Cleveland and with the defense basically winning the game. So it could go back to the GB game.
But starting with the Minn game he just fell apart at the seams.
