The active roster limit is about money

The more guys they dress the more they have to pay. It's owner's being cheap. They will tell you it's about competitive advantage or some other nonsense, but it's BS. It hurts the fans too. When you get multiple o-line or db injuries in a game, you're often just sunk. I don't want to watch a game where they're lining up safeties at corner because they couldn't dress enough guys. Or watch a guard try and play tackle.
