If you arbitrarily exclude non-receiving TDs

Austin catches

2015 52, 2014, 31, 2013 40

Ruben Randle

2015 57, 2014 71, 2013 41

Randle had 8 TDs in 2015

Austin had 5 TDs in 2015.

Grits

It does arbitrarily make him look worse.

Last time I checked, they count, too, not just receiving ones.

I'll stand by he had more COMBINED TDs in 2015 than any of Randle's four seasons.

Better rookie season straight up on both counts, too.

Obviously comparing a WR with four seasons worth of amassed stats to a WR with three is an apples to oranges comparison (Randle has 20 in four seasons with a much better QB situation, Austin 19 in three with a much worse QB situation, and despite that, should blow that combined score number away in 2016).

I'll ask again.

How would Randle do if he had Bradford, Clemens, Hill, Davis, Foles and Keenum throwing to him (3 UFAs and two journeymen if counting), churned like clockwork at about half season intervals?

Austin if Eli was his QB the entire time?

The contract doesn't even become effective until 2018

Didn't they say the WR class of 2014 there were two WRs tied for TDs...?
