Spruce has already proven himself in both practice and the Cowboy game. With nothing to prove about his capabilities, the coaches might prefer to let him get more rest so that he could be closer to 100% for opening day. I think that Spruce is gonna be a big part of their passing O this year.
Hav? Who knows? It would be nice to knock some rust off, of course. But the OL is playing very well without him, so why take a chance by rushing him back into a meaningless PS game?
The RB's have certainly proven themselves, so why not a VERY heavy dose of passes to the various WR's? Maybe one, or more, can find their hands again. Who knows?
