Throwback's have to be applied for two years in advance..........did the league grant an exception because of the move?
I saw in another post you mentioned that ESPN said they would be wearing a blue and white helmet. Color changes also have to be applied for two years ahead I thought. Of course it's ESPN and accuracy hasn't been that important to them for many years now. I guess we will find out. As you say whenever that later date arrives. Probably, I would think, they are waiting to the last minute to milk as much merchandise sales as possible, then drop the throwback stuff on the market for people to grab. It's all about the Benjamins.........always will be too.
An aside..........
I don't think they are going to white on white to slight STL or erase the memories, because they can't ever do that. The rings and the trophy say St. Louis and this teams best years (and worst too) were in that city. Any long time Rams fan knows that.
