Hamstrings can be so tricky, Speed. If, in fact, it's even a recurring hammy issue.

I'm no doctor, but I understand that rest is about the only remedy. Perhaps Fisher uncharacteristically brought him back a few days too early? Consequently setting him back a week or two?

I think we will be a good secondary with a healthy Gaines. So it is in Fisher's best interest to be damned sure that Gaines is 100% before he resumes full go practices, much less a preseason game.

Like I said, these are high stakes, indeed.
