It's all water under the proverbial bridge . . . but I still wish they had signed him and kept their picks. IMO, they gave up waaay too much for Goff, whom I think will be good one day. If the Rams had more talent around the QB, and it looked like QB was pretty much the only thing holding them back? Maybe. Maybe go for broke. But, IMO, the Rams are still not talented enough overall for an "all eggs in one basket" approach. Not there yet. And the loss of the draft picks ensures that won't happen any time soon.
I'll still, as always, hope for the best, like I've been doing for the last 50 years.
