I am not surprised at all by Mannion and his play on Sat. night.
Went to camp a few times this summer and Mannion was the biggest QB in camp. The kid can sling the ball around the field and he has been in the system for 2 years. He knows the plays and looks very comfortable running to offense.
IMHO.......The best thing for Goff is to not rush him at all. Give him a clipboard, visor and a pencil and treat him like a fine bottle of wine.
Start Mannion vs. the Chiefs and lets see how he does for the first half with our #1 offense. I think he will surprise a lot of people. Then, Keenum goes for 3rd qtr, Goff gets the 4th qtr......Let's see what we have in the kid from Oregon State.
Mannion may be better than Keenum.....Then, we would have a 3 headed monster at QB.....That would be a great problem to have.
