I think this is an interesting question, as long as it's not taken too seriously.
Couple kind of coaches, (well, many kinds but only two in the category i'm about to lay out)... Coaches who would take into account the significance of tonights game and act accordingly and coaches who are far more strict and would approach this game absolutely no different than any other opening preseason game. Which is Fisher?
And note: No right or wrong here... or one type of coach is better than the other type, (even if you think one is)...
My guess is that Fisher fits better in the second type... he'll set aside, won't even consider, any 'historical' implication of tonights game (I'm only speaking of how they play tonight and NOT saying Fisher isn't aware of the historical implications.. I'm sure he is). And I don't 'know' this, but there have been several coaches in the history of the NFL that I think 'would' take it into account - you can read that as 'play to win'.
