Well, it's gonna be interesting to see how the FO plays out this contract extension roulette with these 4 players, huh?
Know what? The players and their agents may actually make the decisions for them, at least in part.
If, say, one or more insists on outrageous demands, the Rams will probably choose to let that player walk and focus on finding his replacement in the draft while accepting that comp pick in '18.
So the players will have a big say in whether they remain Rams. It's not just the Ram FO.
I would love to keep them all, of course. But I have to say that I kinda suspect that Ogletree will have a really big year at MLB. If he does, then I would put him at the top of my "want" list among those four players.
If TruJo has a monster year himself, and a healthy one at that, then he might just become a "must have". As such, he get's elevated into the Donald, Gurley category, more or less.
The '16 season by these players will clear up many questions. I believe that the Rams are prepared to go in any direction, depending on the type of seasons that these 4 players have this year. Certainly no shortage of pressure on the coaches and players.
