The further this season goes along, with the defense shining, the more likely it seems that Staley's stint with the Rams could only be for this year. I'd think that with how impressive he has been this season, he will likely be a hot commodity this upcoming offseason. It would be good for him, but obviously not for the Rams or us fans!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
And I like the "Bobby Trees" reference. :thumbsupby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Adams had been to the locker room for an injury and had just came back before that drive I believe. They talked about it on the broadcast...something to the effect of the coaches were likely checking with him to see if he could stay in the game after that play.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Floyd got blatantly held and tackled to the ground on the play where Wilson just escaped.by sacram - Game Time Forum
They had 12 rushes to RBs in the first half, which would seem about right to me going into this game. I'm sure that number will go up in the second half with Whit now out.by sacram - Game Time Forum
and are dead last against the pass and if what I saw on the broadcast was correct, if the season ended today, they would set an all time record for passing yards per game given up. Not saying to completely abandon the run, but a gameplan to simply pound the ball against THIS defense wouldn't make alot of sense to me.by sacram - Game Time Forum
Whatta crazy ride!! After 32 years, it finally happened!! Woohoooooooo!!! RAMS, LAKERS, and DODGERS for life!!!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Yeah I cleaned up that a bit!! :censoredby sacram - Bucky's Pub
it was nerve wracking pretty much the whole game. Kershaw let the leadoff runners on during the first 4 innings. It seemed like the Rays had runners on base pretty much every inning, except for the 5th. Meanwhile the Dodger offense, seemed to go to sleep after the first couple of innings, except for Muncy's HR of course.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Wow, whether it was Baez or Will, it was terrible pitch selection. Lowe looked absolutely lost on swings and misses at 2 change ups, and then they showed him a fastball up and away. Then the very next pitch, it was basically identical, same pitch in the same location. Ughhh!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
My guess is that Boras will want 400 plus million for Corey, and if Cody has a good couple of years, that number will bump up to 500 million for him. All of this young, cheap (in MLB terms of course) talent, is expiring all in a relatively short time.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
I think he hit .300 with a few HRs. I believe he was on the DL for a time this year too. He is a legit hitter IMHO, but the trade was still a steal for Mookie.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
with both of them having Boras as their agent, the Dodgers would probably be looking at close to a total of a billion dollars in total contract cost between the two. Yikes.. On another note, I'd love to be able to keep Kike...not sure how possible that will be.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Best of luck to you!! I've been there before, getting a MRI and receiving an undesirable result. I was lucky, and I wish you the very best as well!! Whatever it is, I'm sure you will beat it! Take Care.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
they lucked out in the Red Sox basically doing a salary dump to get rid of Betts, and I'm glad they paid him long term.....BUT I'd say that they have 3 of the best 10 or 15 position players in all of baseball in Mookie, Cody, and Corey, and their free agency is coming fast. I believe Corey is a FA after next year and Cody is up after the 23 season, and I believe they are both represented by Scotby sacram - Bucky's Pub
I will preface this, by saying that I didn't watch much of the game (was mostly watching the Dodger game), but when I was watching, it sure looked like McVay came out almost exclusively passing and didn't deviate much for the entire game. Looking at the box score, the Rams only had 16 rushes from the RBs for the entire game, meanwhile JG had 38 pass attempts. I did see the drive where Hendersby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Joe Davis took Buck's place in the broadcast, as he did NFL football yesterday. I'd still say whatever you did the last 3 games, keep doing it...although, I'd recommend changing your underwear at some point if that is included in this streak (literally) :thumbsupby sacram - Bucky's Pub
Indeed, GOTTA close this thing out!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
I like your thinking. Hoping there is a pattern there!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
going back and forth. :wink2 I kinda lost it after they lost game 2...just so many years of great teams that end in disappointment, watching the OTHER team come through with the clutch hitting/pitching. Man, what can you say about the last 3 games!?? The Dodgers came up clutch in three different games, coming up with big time pitching and clutch hitting when they had to have it. Will's, Kby sacram - Bucky's Pub
I've just resigned myself to the fact that the Dodgers=Buffalo Bills. A fantastic, record setting regular season team year after year, who just doesn't come through in the clutch when it matters the most. They may end up as one of the best teams, if not THE best team over a decade of regular season baseball in history, but will have absolutely NOTHING to show for it. So frustrating!! If I hear the Dodgers should just tip their cap to (insert name of starting pitcher here), I'm gonna puke. How about we stop tipping our caps in the post season and start hitting with our bats. Even during this run of playoff appearances, the Dodger offense has been suspect in most post season runs, even in 2018 when they made it to the world series, their offense was pretty much anemic. Aby sacram - Bucky's Pub
I can see what they were doing. First off, overall I agree with you and was wondering wtf they were doing when May got pulled last night....BUT, ultimately Julio was in theory the starter, with a right handed opener. They wanted the Padres to run out a starting lineup against a righty, and then they switched after 1 inning The key for it being successful, was Julio getting some effective lenby sacram - Bucky's Pub
GO RAMS, LAKERS, and DODGERS!!! Hope all is well with you buddy!!by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Manny was a turd with the Dodgers, and he is a turd now. Maybe he is more of a turd but he is a turd all the same: BTW, I don't know if I've ever seen a batter celebrate a solo HR to cut a 3 run lead down to a 2 run lead like that in my life. I'm not a completely old school guy, who doesn't expect baseball players to show no emotion on the field, but the Padres celebrating is WAY over tby sacram - Bucky's Pub
He was in the game on the last drive, and ran the ball on the first play of the drive. He barely played in the second half, but when they panned to the sideline a couple of times, I saw him standing on the sideline right by the coaches, looking ready to go in. Maybe he missed a blocking assignment or two....other than that, it is kind of hard to figure out why he barely saw the field in the secby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Doesn't the Fangio D rely heavily on the front 4? It it is very reliant on having a good front four that consistently gets pressure on the QB without blitzing. I think it is pretty obvious that the Rams don't have this. It seems pretty obvious that in order to get more pressure on the QB, they will have to blitz more than in previous/other iterations of his D.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Ebukam just isn't getting the job done. He isn't bringing much of anything to the defense...lets try someone else, it couldn't be worse.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
