Couldn't agree more with all you said. A play caller can adjust to try to help a struggling lineman. McVay just didn't seem willing to do that and it cost them.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
The problem with this solution (and I don't have a better one) is that track record has shown that Boom will likely miss some time on a weekly basis. So they really need TWO capable subs at LT each week. This is why the Rams will struggle throughout the season. They will fair well against teams with little pass rush, but will have issues with good d fronts. Lack of quality depth (or really any deby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
It's hard to imagine that at some point while watching his franchise QB get body slammed that he would have told his OL coach to get that guy out of there. Hard to believe there wasn't another option, oh like maybe put the Tackle Noteboom out there and put the guard playing tackle at guard? Noteboom isn't the picture of health, but he would have had to be better than that dumpster fire out thereby RAMbunctious - Game Time Forum
If he continues playing like that, I'll join you. 🙂by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
I, like a lot of folks were down on Tutu for his first couple of years. Even after his long TD against the Saints last year, I was thinking, ok, but he'll likely be a one trick pony on deep balls. What I saw yesterday has me rethinking that altogether. His willingness to go over the middle on intermediate routes and his ability to catch the ball in traffic and while getting hit reallyby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

Meh. Are they really different than their old ones. I mean I'm sure they are,I'm too lazy to do a side by side, but they just seem like they looked the same for the last 20 years. Lol.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. Loved me some LeRoy Irvin too, but Gray was the man.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh yeah. Pretty sure we're looking at a top 3 pick next year. At least if the Rams do play that poorly we'll have THAT to look forward to. I just keep thinking how lucky we are that our Rams won the SB last year. So many teams have come close and lost and then fell off drastically with no hope of winning it anytime soon. As much as it stinks to have to watch our Rams rebuilding, tby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

Really hoping they hang into Williams and he gets some playing time. He looks the part when he's out there and has a motor. Need guys like that around.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny how in the medias eyes, the Bills forced the Rams turnovers, but the Bills shot themselves in the foot on theirs. The media is pumping the Bills as the belle of the ball this year and most are only too happy to see the Rams fall flat after the Rams won the SB last year. They failed to to have the opportunity to gloat after all their commentary about the Rams being all in and ransoming tby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe not with the MASH unit of an OL we will be rolling with. 😳by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
The worse part was not calling offensive holding on that play as our DL was being bear hugged as he pushed the OL back to the QB. Should have been offsetting.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a couple nights ago I searched for some good old snot-bubblers from Toby Wright. Reminds me of the way he would light people up. One of my favorite Rams from "back in the day".by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
I assume he meant that if Donald is flirting with retirement, then perhaps offer it up as an option to Donald. The thinking being if he retires you get zippo in return. You trade him and you get a haul. Obviously the first choice is for him to remain a Ram. If he's done with the Rams in his mind at this point (not saying he is), then you have to explore options other than just letby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

Just losing AD is downright awful. Losing him in his prime and getting nothing in return (other than cap space) is too much to fathom. It's like when Barry Sanders retired, only it's our turn to suffer. Please, please stay AD!by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Like all of us, I've watched video after video since our Rams won SB56. This is one of my favs. Thank you for posting.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

Was just saying this to my buddy yesterday. All these teams are trying to repeat the "Stafford Effect". It fails more often than it works, but in the past two years, the Rams and Bucs made it work.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Just before the SB he refutes a report that he has made his decision to retire. Then a day or so later announces he's retiring. Steals a bit of headlines during SB time. Now on the eve of FA he announces he's staying. Steals headlines again. Just can't help himself. It's always about him and the NFL caters to him. He and the Bucs will be at the forefront of the news for days again.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with all of your points. In addition to those, playing in the Super Bowl leaves you less time to get the off-season stuff done than when you are out of contention before the big game. So you have to move with a bit more urgency.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no argument that the call on the play in question was ticky tack at best and probably should not have been called. HOWEVER... The play before that Henderson was totally mugged while trying to run his route and no flags were thrown. It was an awful non call and would have resulted in exactly the same situation of a first down, just one play earlier. The real problem isn't thaby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

The other thing is that Ramsey dropped an int after that one that was just as bad imo. Hit him right in the chest deep in Niner territory. The Tartt int was talked about over and over, yet the Ramsey drop was hardly mentioned. As far as I'm concerned they cancel one another out and if anything, Ramsey's was worse because the Rams would have immediately been in scoring position had he caugby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
Couldn't agree more 43. How those that cover football as a sport, or have played the game can look at his career and think he's anything less than a top tier QB are envious, stupid, or worse. It's absurd to look at his body of work and fault him for not winning more in Detroit when everyone knows that team is a dumpster fire. And to put him in the category of game manager like A Trentby RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com

This message that Stafford is not that good of a QB and that he was inserted into a super team which made him look better then he is, is unfortunately catching on with uninformed, casual fans. Doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it's making the rounds at the water cooler these days. Those that know, KNOW though that Stafford was a huge part of this team's success.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
The play before the first holding call against Kupp where Henderson was mugged throughout his entire route. That looked worse to me than the one on Kupp and should have been called, but wasn't.by RAMbunctious - RamsFootballFans.com
