Quoteroman18 when Rivers spells him and gets 5 a pop? You have 2 guys who are on the low roll of the payroll and they make a nice 1/2 punch....I don't see the need for a bell cow type.....I don't want to use any 2024 picks for current NFL players....I thought the idea of this season was to adjust and lower payroll and hit everything next season....a lot of money to spend AND a whole/entire grouby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
KW was not meant to be our team's featured back, Cam was. I don't know what the heck went on with Cam last year and now this year. KW can block, run, and catch but he's not a workhorse RB. The lack of a real primary RB is a hole in our offense. I like him a lot and I want him on our team but I'd like to see that guy we have on our practice squad, Freeman, get some reps.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
WR injuries are common enough that it makes sense to keep an average but experienced WR on the team. VJ isn't that accomplished enough of a player to get a good RoI. I remember a couple of years ago Josh Reynolds stepped up better to the challenge than VJ has done. I really expected a great deal more from VJ.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
It was cool seeing Stan in the locker room with the team.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
We have bigger needs than worrying about replacing Higgs. He's been very good his entire career.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Before the last game I was super confident in McVay, now I'm worried. Has he peaked and plateaued? Is he able to get over his pass-happy, cuteness, mentality? Or did he just have a real bad string of brain farts? He's adept at talking the talk now he's got to walk the walk. If he can't do it with the colts it'll be an extra bad sign of things to come?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Coach has a very good coaching record. He is ranked 10th, (0.613 w/l percentage), of all current head coaches and really should be ranked 9th because the Ind. HC has only 3 games to his credit. He's had two SB appearances and I'm guessing 5 playoff appearances. That's excellent. He had a very bad game and deserves the criticism. Don't know why he had a bad game. He's proven that he's ableby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, so well said. We've seen McVay change from his focus on cute gadget players to better balanced players in the draft but that change took time. In previous seasons he called too many pass plays and later said he learned from his mistakes. Now it seems that he's regressed. At this point McVay is what he is. When he has a motivated team with many all stars he excels but he has failed tby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I feel very confident that we will win.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
We should have kept Gay and Gaines, and maybe A Shawn if they could have squeezed out the money. The financial cut backs were an excessive over-reaction. The pendulum swung too far the other way. A bad management decision.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm really hopeful that he gets a chance to play and that he proves himself to be a stud. I know little about him other than he's generally good while he's played at the pro level. Any thoughts?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I am still not sold on us being a strong team at this point. But my optimism is higher than it was last week. I really respect and appreciate seeing what McVay et. al. have done so far this season.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Thank you Mr. Heyward for more than a feeling: Once upon a time Once when you were SB champs I remember glory Reflected in your story I know where you are Yes I'm thinking about you Now is the time laughing in my wildest dreams I am thoroughly pleased, my anxiety eased, my hopes teased, the Seahawks seized! I'll have more to say, but not today.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Seattle is better than advertised and we're too green still.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Journalists have to hype somebody to get clicks. Blah blah blah. It's been that way for a very long time. I've seen numerous college QBs look like Superman only to be Mr. Duds a couple years after their entry into the NFL. In the meantime where were all these laughable experts on Purdy? Or Brady in a previous season? You need to see a solid and consistent body of work against challengingby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Joe, is that you making this video. Nice job. I got one question, who the hell was the coach who waived Snow? I didn't know he got waved. That seems like a terrible injustice.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
KW, I'm the resident pessimist and you ain't Coy Bacon. This season is not going to be so bad. I'm confident other teams, like AZ, are going to have it worse. We're going to be okay. Give our FO some of the benefit of the doubt because they earned it. We'll have a losing season but the audacity of hope is strong with me. The Rams will be back, and they'll be other team's worst nightmare.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Nothing I could have come up with could have topped that response Shecky, that was brilliant. I got a good laugh from KW's post, but your response was Hershey's Dark Chocolate syrup on ice cream. My compliments.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I've been generally encouraged by what I've seen our FO do this off season. Biggest mistakes: letting Gaines / and or A'Shawn, and our Kickers go, and not keeping a big power RB. Biggest good moves: Drafting Avila. There's probably more but it is too early in the morning for my brain to remember. I also think there are other teams that have bigger problems than us. I will enjoy this seaby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Crom, I read JY's posts on the abilities and ratings of this new OLineman and I thought that he sounded good enough to have a shot to stick. Maybe he'll be good enough to be on our team a few years or more. But, if he's just dumped next year then yeah, I'd agree with you. No reason to trade that high of a pick for a medium guy as a rental.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that's both decent of him to give them a head start, and smart for his org because it'll be easier on everyone around.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for going to the trouble to post all the additional details you do on the various players and football strats. It's very informative and gives us a good perspective.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
My goodness, give our FO a little credit. They took a mediocre team under Fisher and in what, 5 years made 2 SB appearances! And you want to mock them? Look, I'm pessimistic, especially about this season, but I'm also confident in our FO. The sky isn't falling.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
For all you doubters out there isn't this proof that our FO sees the problem and is working to correct it? I think this is another good move for our team. I continue to be very confident in McVay. He's still learning and improving and maturing.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I only saw snippets of the game but what I saw we were bad. However, I shrugged and didn't really care because this is preseason. I have a friend from Minn. who told me of the times their team would win all four preseason games and their hopes would soar, only to crash down during the season. It works both ways. Our Rams will be fine. We have a great coach and one of the best orgs in the bby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
You know, that's really funny! But I don't feel sorry for the 9er fans.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Roman Gabriel. My goodness what a lame article. Most people, including many 9er fans thought the trade for Lance was incredibly stupid. Everybody carried water for him during preseason. He was mediocre in his debut and subsequent play. I think he would be a fine #3 QB someplace but suggesting he be our QB of the future! That would be doubling down on stupid.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
