after such an exciting game 1 win, the Dodgers just completely gave that game away today. 3 of the first 5 innings they loaded the bases with 1 out and didn't score once. Meanwhile Hill, with 2 outs, hits Espinosa, who is a.208 hitter (and struck out 3 times against Kershaw the previous game) and then allows the backup catcher who had 3 HRs all year to hit a 2 out 3 run HR. Case played pretty well overall today, but he just CAN NOT make those game changing turnovers. Isn't that one of the main reasons that Case is starting over JG, because he isn't supposed to make the exact mistakes that he is making? Sure, JG could do that as well, but at least he'd be learning on the job, while gaining valuable experience....it is definitely time.by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
than when we were kids. Did they even have pitch counts back then? Everything is good here, I hope all is well with you and yours...by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Syndergaard was at 108 pitches. Its debatable if he should've came out to pitch the 8th, but I probably would've kept him in for 1 more inning if he was up to it. And Reed pitched the 8th before Familia came in to pitch in the 9th. Its kind of funny, but Buc Showalter got hammered for NOT bringing in his closer before losing in extra innings...I think that Collins pitching Familia in the 9thby sacram - Bucky's Pub
that was definitely frustrating too, don't get me wrong, BUT when that happened they actually had nothing mathematically to play for. If it was me, I'd have definitely wanted to eliminate the Giants, but they may have actually lost their edge...I would hope that wasn't the case, but I think it could be. McCarthy had been on the DL and had one solid start five days earlier 5 2/3 Innings 2ER 1Bby sacram - Bucky's Pub
the McCarthy playoff rehearsal, ie treating him like a starting pitcher out of the bullpen late in a 1 run game when we still had HFA on the line. I think the Dodgers should've been more concerned about their opponent that Friday night, as opposed to getting ready for the playoffs. I'll never get that one... After watching the Mets game last night, I'm sure the entire NL would've been much mby sacram - Bucky's Pub
I wish I could go again!!! Thanks again Mark, hopefully we'll do it again soon!! We used Uber to and from the game and it was awesome!! After the game, it was the published higher rate, but it still only cost us something like 26 or 28 bucks to get to the airport from Figueroa by the stadium. I don't think I'll ever rent a car in LA again...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
kinda similar to his explanation of going for 2 last week. It just makes absolutely NO sense. So they don't have "eyes in the sky" to help him make the decision? He has to solely go off of the big screen in the stadium to decide whtether or not he goes for 2 on the road? Truly Bizarre....by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
what a GREAT win!! I'd say the player of the game would have to be the entire defense. Whatta great effort!! GO RAMS!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
since the defense doesn't detect the hint of a pass threat....BUT unfortunately CK just isn't very good, its that simple....by sacram - Game Time Forum
I noticed that Quinn wasn't in on the last 2 plays, I didn't notice before that....is he out?by sacram - Game Time Forum
he pulled up on his kickoff return and grabbed the back of his leg.by sacram - Game Time Forum
the Cards just aren't playing with ANY respect for our pass game. 8 and 9 in the box on pretty much every play and our run game has ZERO chance.by sacram - Game Time Forum
on that Kickoff return. Looked like he grabbed the back of his leg.by sacram - Game Time Forum
It also helped that we played 15 yards off the ball on 3rd and 10, so that was even close.by sacram - Game Time Forum

One of my all time favorite seasons as a Dodger fan!! I think I enjoyed this season even more than the 13 season. Quite an accomplishment to win the division again with the absolutely unreal number of injuries they had. At one point, they had 7 starting pitchers on the DL, SEVEN!! And I'm sure you all know the rest of the injuries....unreal that they were able to stay above water, let aloneby sacram - Bucky's Pub
We have 2 years of scott kazmir left at the bargain rate of 32 million to look forward to as well.by sacram - Bucky's Pub
Unbelievable to give this guy an open playoff roster tryout tonight while playing for home field in the first round and with a chance to dash the playoff hopes of the Giants. I wonder if this came from the boy wonder, as this was one of his first (awful) signings. He was an average, oft injured pitcher before you signed him, and 36 million dollars later he is still oft injured, and probably belby sacram - Bucky's Pub

that you wouldn't of liked it as much IF TB would've converted their two point attempt (that they wouldn't even of attempted if we kick the PAT btw) after their subsequent TD. It could've easily been a completely different ball game...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
the whole point is that converting the 2 point conversion, rather than making the extra point, mathematically wouldn't of made a difference. Up 12 or up 13, the Bucs still need to score 2 TDs to win and can't tie with anything less. Simply put, if the Bucs made there 2 point conversion (which they wouldn't of even attempted if the Rams had just kicked a extra point), the game likely would'veby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't for the life of me, figure out why the Rams would go for 2 in that situation, unless GZ was injured!?!?! Isn't being up 11 (1TD+2pt conv+FG=TIE) and up 12 (2 TDs needed, NO FGs will help) a huge difference? But JF wanted to be up by 13 for some reason...can anyone explain the logic there? I'm far from a math whiz, but that just doesn't add up for meby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm smiling from ear to ear. Sure the team has warts, BUT this was a very nice, gritty win on the road and hey, we are 2-1 for the first time in is it a decade? This one is very easy for me to enjoy!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for posting leaf, that was awesome!! Sorry i missed you, maybe we'll hook up some other time....thanks again for posting. :thumbsupby sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
It was the first play of the 2nd quarter, 2nd and goal from the 5 with the Rams up 3-0. Hence me and my bro were screaming at the top of our lungs. I looked it up, it was an incomplete pass. That is one of the many plays that were the reason that I lost my voice until about Wednesday...by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
I just saw that too. Just texted my bro a pic (he doesn't post on the board). That is freaking awesome!!by sacram - RamsFootballFans.com
