Another partial article and another low shot on Tutu. Kind of tired at all the hate. He is a good WR and has played well when given the chance. He isn't going to get any bigger. What else can he do? Next season, after another team gets Atwell as a FA he will play and play well. Remember this, when he runs past our defenders how he can't do this or that. I hope we win the game that day anyway becby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Not so sure about that. Rivers actually looked good as a back up last season and there was a lot of excitement on this board about Evans after our Rams traded up in the 5th to draft him. He has barely seen the field so who knows what he can or can't do. Obviously we will need to pick up another RB OR 2 for depth, but I can't see RN #2 as a desperate need. Most of us didn't have great expectationsby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Nice breakdown. Small error at the end where award is listed as a kicker and not a LS.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
He very well could be available at 19. Depends on how many QBs and WRs get nabbed early. I like him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
If you're going to add a LT you need to trade up and grab a blue chipper. Martz doesn't like Alt's butt size but he a top LOT prospect. He would start over AJ right away. Never heard of this Guyton guy. Sure, he could be the pick. Hope not. There are a ton of top QB prospects. I don't think we need one. There are some great WR prospects. Right now, we don't need one. Those 2 positions will beby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Um. Johnson hasn't been seen signed by anyone else. To say it's a mistake not to re-sign him when we still might makes little sense. There is something called a salary cap and the top 51 players in your team can't go over the threshold. Maybe we couldn't afford 10 million a year for an edge right now. I like Floyd, but he is expensive. What is we draft Latu next Thursday. He will cost significantby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we trade down but I wouldn't want to drop all the way to 28. Drop a couple of spots and grab the best D player who falls to us. If we are going to go OT I'd trade up to get a blue chipper. No way I pick a QB before the 5th round. Stafford will play several more years. JG is a quality starter waiting in the wings. Bennett is back and is a winner. I'll try to push out the mysterious abseby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
This WR isn't even the top one from his college team. It would. It'd be highly irresponsible to draft the 5th best WR when we have half a defense. One of Latu, Verse, Newton, the NT from Texas, will be available. We need DL and pass rushers. I would also jump on a young CB or LB. There might be a stud OT available at 19. I see no chance we draft this kid there. After trading down several spots mby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
AJ played well last year. The only reason to draft a young OT would be to replace Noteboom and eventually Havs. A Latham could be a swing tackle for a bit and learn the left side.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, TG30 was picked at 1-10. We start at 1-19. Not really the same spot. Saffold was indeed taken in the 2nd, but it was with the first pick in the round at 33, not where we pick again at 52. We don't have multiple first round picks so a comparison to another draft when we did is apples to oranges. Glad we have a lot of draft capital, but we still have to pick the right guys. The draft is ridby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Does Martz really involve himself on current scouting? Should we really care about his preferences? Kind of strange.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't be upset with this. I do wonder what happens to AJ who did an admirable job at LT, but Alt is the best of this class and looks like a star at the position. In the 70's out Rams always had the best OL. Several of them would make the Pro Bowl every year. We had an amazing ground game and only were stopped for lack of a good QB. Our OL is looking really good right now and adding to it makby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't agree with much of the article, but if this kid dropped to us I think we pounce.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Atwell is on the last year of his rookie contract, but we could re-sign him. There is a lot of speculation about adding a deep threat and he already provides this. We don't use him enough but he shows good hands when targeted. Many don't like him because they feel he was taken too high instead of the center. I actually agreed that I would've taken the other player myself, but it should nby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Agreed. And a rookie WR would also begin his career behind Atwell and SKOW. So, yes, a 6th WR chosen over a starting edge seems a little silly. And we definitely need to add to our DL. We could really use a top young CB. How about a young Weddle type at safety? Are we really happy with our ILBs besides Jones? It's exciting to draft offensive weapons. I get that, but we need to build a postby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Sure, but how high do we need to go to get him? No way we take him at 19. 52? Probably too high when we might be getting a new DT there. How about in the 3rd? Maybe. We have far greater needs for sure than a 5th WR, although I like that he is a returner. Not against the kid, but when we look at actual team needs right now WR is not close to being at the top. On the other hand I am a firm bby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
We can't see Les' cards. We can't see his hands at all. Nor his arms. Not his torso. Nope not even his legs. Just a glimpse of one cowboy boot under the table. Doing a little rhythmic tap.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Bowers is a lot better than our current TEs including Higbee. He won't last to 19. Look at who made it to the NFL Final Four last season. The Niners have Kittle. The Chiefs have Kelce. The Lions have Hockenstein. The Ravens have Likely. Look at what Gronk did for the cheater. Having a big weapon inside (who can block) opens up the whole offense. Most project Bowers in the top 12, so we'by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think all 5 top D front 7 prospects will be off the board at all. I really doubt that chop makes it to 1-28. If we trade down I think it will be just a couple of slots. But, there should be some really terrific choices sitting at 19. I don't see this scenario playing out at all, but I'd be happy if it worked out that way. If we could get Chop and Big Sweat in the first two round I'd beby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice article. I do think we will draft a couple of CBs. Also, wonder about the progress of Durant and Thomlinson. Will one grab the slot? Kendrick is a waste. Like the two guys we signed to start outside, but we still need some depth especially for the future.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
If Bowers falls to 19 we draft him and everyone should jump in the pool.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Not a bad read.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Um. Okay. Doesn't thrill me.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, I don't know how to judge this one. Chop is a big hit or miss. Unreal talent but has effort questions. If we get him to play opposite Young why pick another edge in the second?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
No I don't agree that we should forget about Evans. Kyren was a late round nobody and suddenly emerged. I also don't think we need a speed WR at all. We have one. Tutu. Puka is also fast enough. So is Kupp. DR is quick. If we want to add an offensive player I think we could like Bowers. We could also nab a LOT. Otherwise, I see us going D early and often. We need a DE, edge, ILB. We cby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I expect we see the old triple crown CK. Puka is now going to draw major attention away and Kupp will take advantage. We have 2 #1 1500 yard WRs.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess anything is possible, but I don't see a WR in the first round.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm really excited about our OL. AJ did a decent job as a full time LT and has the size and dedication to improve. Our guards could both be All Pro, Avila is a total stud and Havs is way under respected. I like having Noteboom to back up 4 positions and hope he is used in goal line sitz as the extra tackle. Some of the other guys are young with upside. I still think we will draft a couple of guyby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
