instead of whatever the he11 they did with him last year. They tried to get him the ball way too much. 6 or 7 touches a game and punt returns. That should be the formula. So much of the Boras/Fisher offense seemed like it was based on wishful thinking... like hoping a player would make a play... not putting them in a position to succeed. I am hoping for 3 or 4 runs and 3 or 4 passes for Austiby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I just like his enthusiasm. Where Fisher seemed to always be passive aggressive or slighting everyone, fans included. Now I am not sure what will happen when/If McVay gets hard questions, but for now its enjoyable. After the clip was over, I was surprised it was 15 minutes. Seemed shorter but that's because I enjoyed it I guess.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

I am going to be seriously impressed. Not sure if its coaching, scheme or just preseason and teams aren't blitzing as much... But if they can keep Goff clean, he seems to be accurate. He can buy time in the pocket. There's the Kool-Aid on the table... I want to drink it pretty bad but its going to have to sit there a few more weeks. lolby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
And open receivers. These are luxuries he didn't have, especially at the end of last season. He did a nice job.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a prototype. The final product will probably have different pictures, etc. But the basics are there. Anyway, this is just for promotion of the game to generate pre-sales. It looks OK to me but I'd like to have some other opinions. I will add a poll so it can be anonymous.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I watched the pats game tonight. Mike Jordan had a really nice game. Goff played OK but his receivers did him few favors. I noted that Robinson (holding penalty), Britt (two drops and a false start), Kendricks (drop) are all off the team. Quick had a nice game. Rams played relatively well but the OL was just not good and the drops and penalties were just killers. Donald caused a few pressuresby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Seems I have left something out of my responses or something. I simply am using the QB as a standard... not new contracts, etc. I don't like the idea of paying him as much as Brady or any other QB who makes that much... I don't want to pay him Suh money either and that isn't a new contract either. At the same time if they did, I get it and am fine with it. My preference is to pay one player huby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
and your response was very well laid out. And I get that he is not going to get a contract that equals that of a franchise QB who signs now. I am simply saying that I don't like the idea of paying him the amount of money that a top QB makes no matter when the contract was done. For me its just too much but I am perfectly fine with it if they did. I just wouldn't do it. What do you think Deby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand that new in contracts QB's are being paid more but some QB's like Brady are making $20 million. I'm not sure it would matter to me if he, or any other top QB making about the same money, signed a few years ago. I think its too much for a DT but I'm good either way. My preference would be to walk away.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Suh really wasn't much of a factor in the game. Donald had a personal foul penalty that helped Miami on a scoring drive... But he had a sack/fumble that the Rams recovered and he had a stop for a loss. Rams lost of course but they were in control for nearly the entire game. Wheels came of in the last 5 minutes when Miami scored twice (their only two scores). Other than the personal foul I don't rby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
And I think that is the best argument. I would hate to lose Donald. But is it really money we are talking about? I think Demoff sees the cap as numbers in a system. And to a large degree it is a value-based system with exceptions. I think that's why the Rams are paying $16 mil to a CB probably not worth half that. I don't know how they would do it but my guess is they have projections for HOWby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Once they started blitzing him it was all over. I watched his first game against Miami and he played OK while he had some time in the pocket. And I watched his last game against the Cardinals where I think he maybe had 4 or 5 plays when he had more than 2 seconds to make a throw. Usually it was less time. I'm not sure how much route running even mattered since you can't go through many progressioby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
New offense, new players, new coaches... No one really knows how McVay will use him... Will adding some weapons, better QB play and a better OL help him? How much help does he need? He's not Barry Sanders, he needs other players on the field. But it appears that he can be effective if he has room. Is that true more for him than other players? There's so much we don't know that it seems unwarraby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Just kidding. I like her. I have no problem with her at all. I'll take her reporting over Bernie... For the most part I just try to get tidbits of info that sound like reporting and pretty much dismiss the conjecture. I think she has done a good job reporting. It seems that some of her "off the camera" comments are getting out. My guess is she will be more conservative with sharing herby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams are in a good spot IF they can trade him... Two 1's? Well that would be great. I'm simply against paying anyone other than your Franchise QB that kind of money. But IF you do then he better be special. I think Donald is or close. So if they keep him I'm good with that. I'd rather trade him and I would take less than two 1's... Or have him play out his contract.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
My thought was, at least he can get close to the end zone... lol... My guess is that Greg Z will be busy but if the Rams can score 1 or 2 TDs to go along with 3 or 4 FG's, they might be OK if the defense is stout. Could have had something to do with Cousins too.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams don't seem to be saving any money by redoing his contract early. My personal opinion is that you don't pay any player that amount of money other than the franchise QB. On the other hand if you do, he better be a special player who can take over a game. I don't think the Rams can really win or lose... so to me it doesn't really matter. I am leaning toward a trade, mostly to save tby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Its much different. For those complaining about the OL... watch the Cardinals game (last game).by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Cowboys announcer isn't aware that he is being broadcasted and says after the game "That was one boring game" lol I was OK with it... heck, how much have the Rams actually tackled/hit this season? It was fun just to see them play.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
These are highlights so I'm sure that is part of it. I just watched the week 17 Rams Cardinals game and Goff usually had about 1 to 1.5 seconds to throw before he was hit... which he almost always was. Usually if he could throw before 2 seconds he was OK to at least get the ball off. But there is no way he could trust the OL for more than 2 seconds. The few times he did he was sacked at aboutby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

I went back and looked at the past few season and focused on TA. A few more inches of open space and teams are going to pay. He could be very productive this season.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
If they can stay healthy. I think the NFC West just took notice. I still have to pick my jaw up off the floor from the SW trade but OMG, could the Rams actually have a better than average WR corps? Despite what some may believe about Austin, I think he could flourish with other weapons around him. And if Gurley can become a productive RB... OMG!
