very good move and he will help a lot on the very back end......They really are/have worked hard on their board in FA, which also assists on their board for the draft...a lot.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
Gives insights into his actual life issues while playing ball. His ideas of living life and what he went through. From being a functional alcoholic, to his disappointment with Dickerson's contract issues to his marriage problems. His highs and disappointments overall. It's a short read and I recommend it to get a better sense of the man himself rather than just appreciating his great abilitieby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh well, I missed out yet again....LOL......by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
that is why it's taking this long, if it was a restructure I would think it would go much faster, if not already done. I see no sense in trying to stretch out his money with a restructure as he is and will always be a backup with injury issues as well.. New contract, much less money and for no more than 2 years....more like a 1 year deal 5/6 million?by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
as a swing, backup player. At his tendered cost that would be a steal IMO.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
LOL......I don't know about the legend of Wentz.....outside of him playing well above average when healthy, I wouldn't consider that a legend. What I recall of Jimmy Jesus was he could walk on water but never won when it ultimately mattered. The media at one time was Jimmy this and that...LOL..... I don't dislike the idea of getting him, but IMO he'll be asking a lot more than what I think weby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
The TD to I think Puka was a damn hard pass to place. The guy has a live arm, you gotta remember as #2 he isn't working with the 1st team, the only time he was doing that was that week of practice before the whiners. Him sitting on his couch (and he wasn't) he was doing activities he loves, hunting etc..... Just because teams ignored him shows nothing about his abilities, he sure looked at hby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
when he has a real bad injury. He probably had his head in a bad place, the guy lives football. If he's in a bad place what kind of encouragement could he bring? I don't think that's being selfish, that's being real IMO.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
You really think that way about him, being self centered? He was skipping along with Turner last year, he wasn't moping around when Turner was tieing his rookie record, he was right there encouraging him. I would think you'd come up with he has inside info of a trade coming down for Josh Allen ....LOL..... The guy has more than made his money, I think he loves the locker room, I think that iby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think most/all these people grade on who THEY wanted, then determine that usually their pick would have been better.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I just can't get my head around that crapa$$ helmet he used to wear. I am not a Wentz all the way guy, but I do think he would be cheaper that Jimmy, and I don't think anyone is knocking on his door, I also think the RAMS have been in contact with him for a while now.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
and if the revamped line protects and the run game clicks that's very possible. Now why would you want to have Fields as a backup for that period+ pay him. Would he want to be a 3 year backup? Would he want to be a 1 year backup? Nobody is going Wentz's way...he'll be there when the RAMS ring him up, heck they may have already made those plans with him, I think that's a done deal.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
and I think it was actually later in the year, not half season. You also need to take into consideration the other guys in the back end would at times be out of place leaving him without back help.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
They think they had to grab him before he was taken by someone else........."Man that's a relief, nobody has him but us"by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
They may have to make it happen...by trading up a couple/few spots.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
No way they accept #19 for that guy.....I am sure they have factored in his contract when they franchised him with their plans moving forward.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
so you can go high at WR...I want to go high on Edge and leave WR alone (drafting high). I don't see the need for a WR as a prominent need. I see you do. Look at the cost it is at a vet Edge.....IMO higher than WR at this point. If they get their Edge in the draft it's at a rookie contract for 4-5 years....those big numbers(if used on a vet edge) are now able to go in offensive needs down theby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he may come back....he liked it here, he has said so. He may come back on the cheap.....It may be a part of their pre FA/Draft plans?by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
3/4 of the season...he was rated high in the league at his spot. He was working with some young guys who would at times be way out of place....he reacted calmly like a vet should with young guys.....As far as rookies go, well all of them for the most part need work coming in, that's why IMO Sean made a conscientious effort to bring in a staff that teaches....Turner, Young and Lake (basically a rby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that Snead/Sean and company are doing things by the book they have planned out. They took on DeMarcus after letting Allen go....even swap plus they had intentions of moving Avila to C to begin with. They then moved out to G knowing that Dotson was a key fixture. FA starts and they go G right off.....that tells me this was a planned move they were going this way before it started. Pickby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
You gotta be kidding. Turner was ROY, Young did better than expected, Spoon was a steal before he hurt his groin (and was playing through it) Lake shows high upside, Brown was coming on big time on the line.....Several games were wins due to defensive stops. Now you have those coming back with a good footing plus you're getting an upgrade over Kendricks. They did not do/make hard moves for aby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
anyway. Not going to get one in a lower pick, never was. Same thing with a shut down corner so I don't understand your point. I see it as we set up the O-Line in FA, no have to moves need be done in the draft. That leaves the draft to go after those very spots you speak of, CB and Edge. We have right now #19 and like #38 (I think#38). If you bring back Witherspoon on the cheap IMO you haveby roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I really think Turner will be the 1st 1 off the board. Latu may scare some off with his neck issues.....You may be able to move up a bit to get Verse?by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
knew how to remold a team. Nobody could take teams like he did who were nothings and turn them around. Players loved working with him too. He had an Achilles heal with QB, but he was a very smart football guy....Had some bad luck with QB too, Vince going to Canada right when he was getting it going......by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean you assume they'll go CB or Edge, what's the difference. You draft a Latu, Verse, Turner and you have them on a rookie contract instead of getting a rental, or trading and losing picks doing so. I really think that 1 of those 3 will be there if not at 19 somewhere near that and you go up down in the draft to get him.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
a hint the word starts with 'S"......by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
bring him back to the line. He is not their end all to go opposite Young.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
what's up with everyone throwing away getting your Edge in the draft. Dang, it sounds like you guys have all your hopes in FA for this position. You know what Chuck Knox said about hope? "Those who live in hope, die in @#$%&"......LOL the guy had some real zingers.by roman18 - RamsFootballFans.com
