I don't think I offered up a total win number but I was confident that the Rams might not be a total disaster due to having a competent QB, coach, and owner at the wheel. If you have that, you have a chance in this league. Of course, the over all play of the defense and OL played a large part in the success but who really could see that coming?by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotenantucketramfan If I had to guess, you make a good point and I agree with you. Brian Burns is a plausible target, since they tried to trade for him a few times (from all reports) and have always coveted him. He will be very expensive so we'll see how high in dollars Snead will go to get him. On another note, I predict that Snead will trade his first round draft pick this year to accumulaby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBerendsenRam Yep, I remember that too as well Brother! Also, Steven Jackson was his favorite player. GO RAMS!)))) The kid is living a Rams fan dream right now. He grew up a life long Rams's fan and now he is playing for the Rams. He is playing with heart and giving it everything he has. He is really easy to root for.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamsDynasty The Rams found success getting a running back to contribute off the coach and also got Safety help from a retired Safety for a playoff push. Is there an edge rusher we can try to coax off the couch?)))) I was hoping Robert Quinn would clear his legal troubles and be in play but I guess it's not going to happen. :(by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills and its been a good bit since we have been a game of this magnitude. I've missed it! LFG!!!!)))) It sure has. I thought the Ravens game was going to be the Rams opportunity to get back on the NFL map. They almost pulled it off. Luckily, the Rams have another chance to cement themselves as a true contender. Our special teams (kicker and units) better be more focused iby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
All I have to say is that if the Rams do make the playoffs, they will have plenty of content for a tremendous pregame high light reel of preseason and mid season talking heads disrespecting the team and counting them out. Not to say that it was not warranted as the team they put together was so unknown and nobody was sure the coaches could get them to perform at a high enough level. QuoteLMU93 To me flexibility is the way to describe it because, as it stands, they can go in a lot of directions to bolster the roster. But there are very few things they HAVE to do as far as big FA $$ or high draft picks. I think they will go for free agent help at Edge and CB. Good NFL defenses have quality pass rushing and CB play. Period. And while they found a diamond in Young they can'tby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLoboRam I was right there with you Joe... My disdain for the Dallas trumps just about everything when it comes to football. Growing up in NM you were either a Cowboy or Broncos fan... Me... Horns since the 60's when I watched Gabriel to Snow. So at times I found myself actually pulling for the hawks but it was short lived... we know who they are and what's at stake. Go Rams! QuoteRamsdude During this time of giving Thanks I am thankful for this board and the Ramily I have grown to know here. Quotemax He has got 9 TD in 9 games. That sucks. Especially for a guy that throws tons of picks. Those are inexperienced rookie numbers. How much of it is from playing injured? Dunno, but I do know he is playing on borrowed time.)))) Wow, as much as I love Matt and am grateful of his '21 effort, this stat is pretty bad for a guy making as much as he does. I hope he can get past sby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamkind Yes please!!! JJ McCarthy is a special player. Not only is he a great player, but he is an even better kid. There is no me first with him. He is all about the team and exactly the type of QB I want. From the winged helmet to horns! Please let it happen!!! Go Blue!!)))) If we are taking a QB in the first, JJ is my hope as well.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Rams are NOT far from the Playoff race. The Rams have SHOWN they can play with the very best of the NFC. I have seen waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many busts in the Draft to get overly excited about any pick. Once we see "E" for Eliminated by the Rams in the standings, I might look forwatd to the Draft a bit more.)))) That's the spirit. QuoteRamgator YES...2024 should bring more talent and solidify the Rams. But why are so many giving up on 2023??? The Rams are just 2 games back of Frisco. We have SHOWN that we CAN take them on THIIIIIIIIIIIIIS season. Philly too! I don't get the whole..We're young.....We weren't supposed to win this year. QuoteJoeT13B "They were growing up, they had grown up, and they did grown up things. Paid bills, avoided debt, and were always where they were supposed to be when the clock and calendar demanded. QuoteRamkind And yet, the one quarterback I want the Rams to draft, isn't even on the list. JJ McCarthy will be climbing those draft boards over the next few months.)))) Agreed. It's hard not to like what JJ has done this year.by Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM And SF goes down to the Vikings, (Cleveland proved it could happen)... we're 1 off the lead in the west with the Niners coming up, (very late). Quoteden-the-coach He also might stay another year however maybe not because I believe Michigan will win the national title. I would love him in horns.)))) QuoteSoCalRAMatic Hoecht was drafted as a DT and is learning an entirely new position. He is a very fast 300 pound guy. He has the athleticism to play the position from a big DE, pass rusher but he gets abused when he tries to literally go into coverage one on one split wide. He is not a CB. He has no chance on those plays. Any offense I've coordinator will and should attach this area of weaknessby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- running the ball and winning is a bit of a misnomer .... usually the Rams and most other teams run the ball when they have a lead and are having success running the ball....playing catch up against good run defenses isn't exactly condusive to running the ball...although, I would lioke to see more creative runs...what happened to the jet sweeps? QuoteHazlet Hacksaw Hoecht will never be good in coverage and he shouldn’t ever be in coverage.)))) The Hoecht experiment needs to stop now. He currently has 10 tackles and 0.5 sacks on the season. Last year he made the most with his playing time and it looked like he had a lot of potential for more. Its not happening right now and it's a liability. :bangheadby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteKRams Quotemtramfan He also said the plan going in was to run more, but Rams got taken out of that rhythm. Said they wanted to play other backs, notably Ronnie Rivers, but again - rhythm and opportunities were lacking. LOL. QuoteRam_Ruler I agree with you. Coaches will have to make the move only if they see fit. I just don't see how he can be worse than hoecht right now.)))) After 3 games, I don't see Hoecht doing much of anything. Maybe he sets the edge well? I'm not sure. He certainly isn't setting the bar very high for Hampton to overcome. QuoteSoCalRAMatic Agree on VJ. He will probably have his last real chance to make a positive impact for the Rams Monday night against the Bengals. In the first game he outright dropped a perfectly thrown bomb which cost us a TD. In game 2, he waited on a long pass rather than come back toward it that became a key interception. He hasn't had a lot of targets and these two are unforgivable. Profeby Killrazor - RamsFootballFans.com
