Quote21Dog Who took an injury riddled roster to the Super Bowl, where they went toe to toe with the dynasty Steelers. Malavasi wasn't a long term solution, but did pretty well in the short term. Allen over Walsh was the Rams' Pedro Martinez for Delino DeShields moment. Yeah, I give Ray a hard time because of who he wasn't, but although very unorganized, he was just a football coach.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Also the Rams have some inside on Alt being that Tony Pastoors who oversees the cap for the Rams, brother, coached Alt in High School. I wanted the Rams to draft his father too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator And missed Leroy Irvin's 97 yard INT by a minute! But remember being SOOOO happy we were about to put it away. I could not imagine doing that during a game. Time stopped and my focus was the game, would not eat or anything. The only I would do and still do during a game is workout, only because I am able to watch and do that simultaneously.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

If Mr. Bates continues to kick like this, he will get his chance. However, I also believe the Rams are going to draft a kicker so my hope is they just get it right, regardless if it's Jake Bates or Norman Bates.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotewaterfield "Economizing on words was his hallmark and maybe the most memorable of his brief and to-the-point calls was "Starr to Dowler …" Personally, I'll never forget one call he made. "Starr hands to Williams. GONE !" You may not recall but Travis Williams was blindly fast . In the clear he always was "gone". QuoteL.A.Rams ...were great in the late 70s. They did the Rams-Cowboys playoff in 1979. Wonder how George Allen felt watching Ray Malavasi coaching his team.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

I understand that Carroll Rosenbloom was looking to catch lightning in a bottle, hoping Namath had one more year in him, but his knees were so done, he could not even set up right. The arm was fine, the legs were done. I also understand they were not sold on Ron Jaworski and traded his rights to the Eagles for TE Charles Young, which killed me because Jaws was so much better then Haden especialby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
They were together in This Week in the NFL and made a great tandem, even though Summerall went on to team up with John Madden. Brookshier broke the game down well and Summerall with that gifted golden voice IMO, was second to none.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteferragamo79 Maybe Wentz can run for 60 yds in avmeaningless end of season game for you...while wents is on his 4th team in 2 years ????? :confused You know I liked Wentz and FWI, it was not a meaningless game for me as anytime the Rams defeat the 49ers, it means something to me. Maybe that is one of the reasons I liked Wentz, but let us see what Jimmy G can do because McVay likes him.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteferragamo79 why does he need to look bigger It actually was not a Wentz reference, it was a James Harris reference as he donned 11 in 73 then switched to 12 in 74 and beyond. The Los Angeles Rams had an excellent special teams coach back then in Gil Haskell and Mark Jerue was one of the best special team players on the squad. Jerue did get a chance to start later on, but he did struggle staying healthy, but that group under Haskell was quite an amazing unit and for the most part under John Robinson the special team unit was actually special with Mark Jerue leading theby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
That means working diligently at your craft, lose yourself in your job. It is a great way to block things out that trickle in and will also eliminate the doubt is there is any mentally. His father is in the HOF and Junior is bigger, stronger & faster. Some will question the fact that he didn't participate, but he works his tail off and proved that at the Woody Hayes Center every day. Harrison, Jr. Always stayed later working on his craft so I believe he would be worthy of a trade up of this magnitude as I truly hope he does not end up in our division.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Looking more and more like the Rams could trade down, but Chop Robinson would have to be there, in this scenario, they get Murphy & Braswell which improves the defense then add a WR, OT & CB all needs. Finishing with adding a Center, RB, LB & then a kicker. I would like a bigger back then Gore, but he would be number 2 behind Williams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
