I live 2 hours from Champaign IL. I am a huge Illinois fan even though they just fall short every year. But DL Newton is a beast and I think he would be an enormous addition to our defense. He has the motor as well as the instincts to shut things down. Watched him all last year. He is a beast. He would be great with Kobie for sure.

I think that that smaller tight jerseys came with the advent of smaller shoulder pads. Man, I remember when I played HS Football, I was 5 foot 8 inches and 135 pounds lol. I was the fastest guy on the team without pads. I ran a 4.6 40 and that was fast in 1979. But we had these ginormous shoulder pads that weight about 8 fricken pounds, hip pads, butt crack pad, huge knee pads. It was crazy lol.
