Think punt blocking is most glaring problem right now. Statistically, X is serviceable but would be better with improved blocking. My only issue with X (besides the muffed punt) is his decision making. When to fair catch, or not. And whether to field the punt or let it roll.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm definitely not advocating for violence (officials do have protective services to ensure their safety after games). But there are circumstances in which some public scrutiny is warranted, especially when a professional official is obviously incompetent or compromised. The same ref who called the PI also missed the blatant hold that let Nix get to the pylon. Literally, 3 yds from the ref. While TV showed every conceivable replay of whether Nix was in/out of bounds, those same replays show a Rams player being held and turned. Not a peep from the announcers, smh. With all the new (and old) additions to the D, how do you project opposing offenses will try to attack? How will the Rams D counter punch? My daughter is taking me to visit Cali for my first ever Rams game in LA! Plan is to fly into SF for Niners game in Levi, drive down the coast for some sightseeing and then go to Cowboys game the next week at SoFi. Ticketmaster prices for SoFi are crazy!! $2000 each for a relatively decent seat. Every home game we're commenting on how many opposing fans are showing up at SoFi. Chose Rasual Douglas. I'm still very concerned about quality and quantity of CB depth. Douglas would be a nice veteran CB3. Good analysis. I'd only add that his WRs were also suspect. Other than Germie Bernard, their drop rate was historically bad (for Alabama). They also lost their best TE, Josh Cueves, who was injured near end of season. Essentially, Ty Simpson was the Bama offense. No OL; no running game, few reliable receivers. Hard to judge his true QB ability and whether he's injury prone or not.by BamRam - RamsFootballFans.com

It'd be unimaginable that this selection was made without full concurrence from Stafford. If Stafford wasn't on board with grooming his successor (not replacement), this pick wouldn't have been made. McVay, Snead, Stafford (maybe Kroenke too) all agreed with the selection. And more importantly, they agreed on path forward over the next few years. If we were to list all the traits that McSnead look for in players, Ty Simpson checks all the boxes. We not me; team loyalty, extreme work ethic, never quit, smart, tough, etc. I mean he's almost a poster child for the "Rams Way". He's an absolutely perfect fit for this team.
